The Jean Lafitte House is situated where the Faubourg-Marigney neighborhood meets the Vieux Carre, widely known as the French Quarter. Just a few blocks from the Mississippi River, the Jean Lafitte House is close to such attractions as the French Market, Cafe Du Monde, Jackson Square and the live music venues of Frenchman's Street.
